Feeling tired? Sluggish? Lacking energy or vitality? No Get-Up-And-Go?
Odds are your body is trying to tell you something. Everything that happens in the body is either neurological or chemical, which both connect to one another. When something is off, you are likely receiving a message from your body that the chemicals are off. You've been taking in more toxins than your body is able to sort through and the build-up will undoubtedly cause side effects.
In order to move this natural process along, you need to identify the areas where you can improve or help your body with the detoxing process.
Here are some examples:
If you tend to drink a lot of soda, offset this with an increase in water consumption. You should urinate often throughout the day, as this is one of the key ways fluid toxins are expelled.
Do you have a comfy office job where you stay in the air conditioning all day? During your lunch break or after work, go to the gym or run around the block. The sweating is good for your pores, as oily toxins are expelled through the skin.
Are your bathroom trips irregular? Do you go days without a bowel movement? This is another sign that the internal plumbing is a clogged up. Alter your diet and reduce the intake of sugars, starches, wheat and glutin-based foods, and anything processed, canned, or frozen. Focus on natural foods that are high in fiber to stimulate an easier pathway from mouth to... well, you get the point.
There are countless ways to contribute to a total cleanse but remember that this is a full time job, having one of these physical bodies. You don't have to stay away from all your favorite foods and beverages BUT you do have to keep an eye on this so that you can do some course-correcting now and then in small ways.
Each little step is a little bit more help to your body's natural detoxificationsystem.
